4th through 6th Graders Present Mardi Gras
	Next week, WMS students will celebrate Mardi Gras during French class. The 9-12s created this presentation, using a computer program called Photo Story 3, to explain the holiday to their younger friends.

	Positive Parenting: So, how’s this supposed to work, anyway? - Five-week course starting Feb. 8
	Presented by certified parent educator Yvonne Nass "I’ve been hearing about this class since I got to WMS and it’s as great as I heard! I have new strategies to work into our routines and new language…recommend to all the parents I know!" - Positive Parenting participant Learning the ropes of parenting and need some experienced insight? Been a parent for a while and feel like you need some additional perspective? This is the course for you!  This five-week series will cover skills that will help parents and caregivers create a strong, respectful and trusting relationship with their children. 	MTAD Parent Workshop - All Children Learn Differently: Exploring Your Child's Unique Approach to Learning - February 16
	Join Dr. Joyce Pickering for an interactive workshop that will help you identify and understand your child’s unique academic strengths and weaknesses. Find out how a strong connection between home and school can help your child reach his or her potential. Dr. Pickering, a mother of 5 and grandmother of 12, is a 40-year Montessorian, speech and language pathologist, and learning disabilities specialist, as well as Executive Director Emeritus of Shelton School and Evaluation Center in Dallas—the world’s largest independent school for children with learning differences. 	WMS Parents - Have you taken the Journey yet? It is time to step out of the observation room...and into the classroom! During this event, you will: Personally experience the Montessori educational process and better understand the teaching methods. See first-hand how WMS prepares children for success in their educational journey. Learn how each program level builds and supports your child's development from introduction through 6th grade. Open conversations with your child about classroom activities. Realize the positive aspects of learning and succeeding at WMS.
